Over the last several months we have made a number of announcements about our end of support for some insecure encryption protocols used in web connections.
These protocols are TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1.
All AssureSign-provided client applications have already been released with the required modifications to ensure they will continue to work when those protocols are disabled. All modern browsers support the TLS 1.2 protocol that we already use on our websites.
We have allowed for some delays to our originally announced cutover dates for customers that have asked for extensions so they could ensure their custom integration software would work properly.
In order to allow better testing of custom code to ensure it will work properly with the TLS 1.2 protocol, we are modifying our sandbox environment to disable TLS 1.0 and 1.1 on Wednesday, April 13, 2016.
Please also remember to update any AssureSign client applications you may be running to the latest version:
Final dates for the encryption protocol change to our production AssureSign websites will be announced in the next few weeks.
