Parameter – This is information provided during the document setup. Typically, this is provided by the user sending the document. This information lies within specific constraints that you know will be required, but the exact input may change depending on the scenario. Examples are: the signer’s address, a job title, the date an incident was reported, or the nature of the incident.
Fixed – This is unchanging information provided during the Template creation. Commonly used for company names, addresses, and similar things of that constant nature.
Tip: When editing a JotBlock, hover your mouse cursor over the word “input” to receive information on the difference between Signatory, Parameter, and Fixed.
